Wine time! Or Water time! Cyber Monday sale!

I love these carafes: you can put your wine or your water in them and then store them next to your bed on the stand or wherever you need some refreshment!

I just saw a carafe like these that I make in my new favorite 007 James Bond movie "SkyFall".

Have you seen it? It's so good!

Ok, enough about James Bond, Daniel Craig and being shaken, not stirred. Today is Cyber Monday-meaning I have a sale for you!

These carafes are $25.00 and available by ordering online or save the shipping and see me at the craft fair in Kingman on December 6-7!

The Cyber Monday sale is available today through Friday December 1st. Why? Because I'm not in a hurry and the death ofBlack Friday and birth of Grey Thursday has me mad.

Call or email me for your carafe order unless you would prefer a paypal link. $25 for Cyber Monday sale and $35 at the show-get your wine jugs now!

Jean Butt Bowls: for winter weather

The weather is cooling down here! It's time to get the soup cookin' and settle in for comforter covered toes on the couch with a big jean butt bowl of stew or soup!

These jean butt bowls are a favorite of mine: for using and giving as gifts. They are double glazed and fired making them food safe and dishwasher safe.

What to put in them:

Soup
Stew
Coffee
Tea
Cereal
Salsa
Wine
Candy on the end table
Your keys by the door!

At just $12.99 they are a perfect gift for a school teacher, hair dresser, neighbor, friend, family or alien!

Contact me if you would like to order set of 4 in your favorite color.

p.s. Who do you think won the VP debate last night with Paul Ryan and Joe Biden?

VP Debate: Ryan vs. Biden : which wine will you choose

You put your wine in here and then set it by the bedside so you can sip and read. Or, put it next to the tv while watching the VP debates tonight. I don't know how Paul Ryan is going to do-but I'm rootin' for him.

Joe Biden may act like a goofball on a daily basis, but he has decades of political debate experience. I think tonight's Vice Presidential debate is going to be a fist fight of words, knuckles bared and no holds barred event.

Hence, I'm filling my wine jug now.
You can put water in it tomorrow to help with the head ache.

P.S. you need this and you know it-get it this Saturday October 13th, at the Holiday Craft Fair at the Kingman AZ Adult Center off Airway, just behind Walmart. See you there at 10!

Merry'ween to you!

That's right, say hello to Santa. It used to be that the holiday retail season started after Thanksgiving dinner. Black Friday would mark the beginning of the holiday shopping season. Well not anymore!

Welcome to your Merry'ween. The Christmas decorations and toys are out on the same aisle as the halloween stuff. I think it's a tad sacrilegious, don't you?

Tell me what you think and in the mean time I've got to get back out to the shop and start organizing and painting all these Santas.

Crafty clay makins, or crazy slip pourin techniques are by products of trying for perfection.  It never works for me to try and build or make some thing in perfection.  My best pieces are accidents or not knowing exactly what I am doing...those are the pieces that sell.  My best finishes are experimenting with different media.  So get out there and step out of the outline of your category.  You will never know unless you do.

My beachwear consists of a tank suit with a lil skirt, real cute and hides the big belly and the big butt.  In case I get caught in a riptide, my suit will stay put- on me. We full figured girls like the security of a one piece.  Exposure Wear, do you make this type of a suit?

Red Hat Ladies Bootsie Hottsie Tottsie

This piece is a wonderful dry floral vase highlighting the society of ' The Red Hat Ladies'.

Day of the Dead ceramics: what do you think?

Oh look at this gorgeous piece by Patty Mara! I am loving the detail and the design. I am starting to make more Day of the Dead ceramic pieces for the upcoming shows and art festivals.

I think what I like best is the boldness of the designs and strong imagery. What do you think?

I have a real probelm with the desert chipmunks and squirrels, they are -

Yes, the desert chipmunks and squirrels are totally unreasonable regarding the sharing of the 4 inch peaches that were tree ripened yesterday.  Those guys ate every one of them!  Not to make remarks about the birds but how did they fly after they helped the squirrels and the chipmunks eat those peaches!!  There isn't even a pit left!
