How many molds does it take to make a collection?

Dare I say-that I have a mold fixation? Collection? Something for the kids to inherit?
I have a plan and purpose for each and every mold I've got, how about you?
How many molds do you own?

Day of the Dead ceramics: what do you think?

Oh look at this gorgeous piece by Patty Mara! I am loving the detail and the design. I am starting to make more Day of the Dead ceramic pieces for the upcoming shows and art festivals.

I think what I like best is the boldness of the designs and strong imagery. What do you think?

Ice Dragon:answer to Arizona excessive heat warning

Today it's 115 degrees here in Arizona-the Ice Dragon must know a thing or two about staying cool in the heat.
I'm bringing him to the Hualapai Arts & Crafts festival on Aug 18th/19th-so come by the booth and get cool along with him!
Parking is free, food and drinks available and bring the kids.

There just may be a Wapiti sighting...or a dragon sighting! See you there!

Kliklaklay at the Hualapai art festival Aug 18-19 with Native American chief piece

Hello from the studio!

The kiln is firing and I have a moment to show some of the pieces that will be available at the festival at the Hualapai Lodge in Kingman Arizona on August 18/19th.

Remember, the parking is free but you gotta get there early to get the good spots!
Food and drinks are available plus there are a many family events planned-so bring everyone!

I really enjoyed making this Native American chief.

I like the expression on his face. What do you think he is saying?

Tell me when you come see me and Kliklaklay next weekend!

If you can't make it to the festival-then brave the heat and come out for the fry an egg on the street contest out at the shop in Oatman off of historic Route 66! http://www.oatmannuggetcorral.com/
