Day of the Dead ceramics: what do you think?

Oh look at this gorgeous piece by Patty Mara! I am loving the detail and the design. I am starting to make more Day of the Dead ceramic pieces for the upcoming shows and art festivals.

I think what I like best is the boldness of the designs and strong imagery. What do you think?

Rain makes a river run through my tent

Hello from the cool and wet Hualapais! The festival is awesome-so much to see, to do, to eat and to buy!
Alas-the weather today calls for 50% rain, and as you can see in the picture, yesterday's weather pattern was a 20% chance!

We are still here and open-it's just a wee bit damp. Come see me!

I have a real probelm with the desert chipmunks and squirrels, they are -

Yes, the desert chipmunks and squirrels are totally unreasonable regarding the sharing of the 4 inch peaches that were tree ripened yesterday.  Those guys ate every one of them!  Not to make remarks about the birds but how did they fly after they helped the squirrels and the chipmunks eat those peaches!!  There isn't even a pit left!
